Which are the features of the supporting structure of a raised floor?

The supporting structure of a raised floor is made of supports and crossbeams completely realised in galvanised steel, for heights that can vary from 3 cm to over 1 metre.

Indicative description of the support structure:
  • 80/100 mm diameter circular base, 2 mm thick, with stiffening corrugation and holes for eventual mechanical ground fixing
  • threaded spindle, with variable height, welded at the base and having a nut for the height precision adjustment (nominal +/- 20 mm), with 4 or 8 male notches
  • head width 60/70 mm, 2.5 mm thick, made of 4 or 8 radial spokes constituting the supports for the connection crossbeams. The profile of the spokes is opportunely shaped to receive the trigger coupling, with side locking, of the ends of the crossbeams. Every spoke has a double hole for the positioning of the crossbeam and the mechanical locking with self-shaping screws from the crossbeams to the head
  • conductive plastic head gasket with acoustic insulation function, having 4 reliefs to facilitate positioning of the panels

The connection crossbeams are made of:

  • a special profile, obtained for printing, having the section of about 25 mm of width and variable in height
  • extruded plastic material crossbeam gasket with "U" section, which flexibly combines with the crossbeam and works as acoustic insulation and air seal

Technical data:

  • standard height min/max 120-200 mm – Out of standard up to 1500 mm (panel thickness excluded)
  • standard weight‎: 4 – 4.5 kg/m2
