Slim/4 is the name with which the 4 mm thin porcelain stoneware slabs are identified.
It is a production technology developed within the Florim establishments, thanks to which the slabs are obtained by pressing: the result is a product that is highly resistant to stress, requires no reinforcing fibres and eliminates material tensioning and laying seal problems, and is easy to cut, drill and clean.
The production technology makes it possible to use the same graphics and raw materials used for the collections with traditional thickness. The tiles have given excellent results in all the tests carried out.
SLIM/4 is a product for floors and walls, particularly suitable for renovation works requiring installation over existing materials. The reduced thickness, lighter weight, easy transportation and handling make SLIM/4 the best response to the new market requirements.
