Features
The ventilated facade is an innovative outdoor tiling system for buildings able to bring huge advantages to the structures (new and restored) on which it is installed.
The "dry" application system joins the advantage of being able to create the wanted heat insulation features to that of guaranteeing safe fastening of the tiling (it is in this way possible to apply any type of insulating layer). In addition, the airway keeps all wall layers dry, further increasing the thermal inertia of the building.
Ventilated facades
The ventilated facades are successfully used in the restructuring of various buildings that are in this way restored and improved in the living comfort.
The ventilated wall, from an aesthetical and architectural point of view, also allows extreme flexibility in the use of materials, colours and sizes, supplying the professional the possibility of expressing maximum design freedom.
The correct functioning of the ventilated facade is given thanks to the presence, between laid material and the building's facade, of an airway inside which a natural ventilation develops. Thanks to this system, it is possible to calculate the benefits of a high thermal inertia to those of a very quick disposal of dampness and condensation, allowing for a significant energy saving.
Special types ventilated facades
The fastening system of a ventilated wall can envision visible or retraction mechanical hooks. There is also the possibility of laying the slabs using specific polyurethane adhesives.
The supporting structures are usually realised in aluminium, whereas the hooks, nuts and bolts and fixing plates to the building are of steel.
Particular manufacturing: increased thickness
Based on specific design requirements, Florim Solutions is able to produce and supply slabs with increase thickness 16 mm.
This type of product, as well as being mechanically more resistant, allows realising the hooks along the perimeter of the slab, inside the thickness (Kerf or slot system): a more economical type of manufacturing compared to the common milling on the back of the tile and which guarantees a significant aesthetical impact on installation.
