The endless research impulse towards technological innovation along with a careful attention aimed at intercepting the evolution in contemporary design that characterize and distinguish Florim since the beginning, are the milestones of company history and they make Florim a reference point within the ceramic sector.
For this reason Florim products and solutions always provide the most adequate answers to technical, stylistic and eco-compatible requirements of contemporary architecture.
Florim 4 mm thin stoneware tiles, the new size 80x180, glass mosaics, prefabricated design bathrooms, ventilated facades with the special applications will be the protagonists of Florim space at MADE EXPO 2011 (hall 3, stand R01 S10). The new products and project solutions of Florim group will reinterpret Fitness&SPA spaces inside a special stand designed in collaboration with the architect Franco Scaglia.
Even after the fair closure, customers can have a look at Florim project solutions at Florim Flagship Store, via Fatebenefratelli n.9; this space, with a surface of 500 m2, is the perfect place where architects, professionals and protagonists of the building market can meet.
 MILANO DESIGN WEEKEND 2011
FLORIM INTERPRETING ART AND DESIGN
Milan, art, design. The protagonist of the Milano Design Weekend 2011 will also be the main actors of the windows of the Florim Flagship Store on Florim Fatebenefreatelli 9.
The Milan event, jointly organized by RCS Group and Mondadori Group, after the great success of the first edition, this year returns from 6 to 9 October with four days of shopping, but also on integrated pathways of design, art, architecture and music.
This edition focuses on the theme of MDWE "Let's be informal, a dialog between art and design". Goal of the title is making more and more warm and enveloping relationship between the design points of sale and the final consumer.
An informal dialogue between art and design will be the star of the showroom Florim that, for the occasion, will become the exhibition container of works by young artists: Caterina Crepax and Lora Nikolova. Through the contemporary design of ceramic surfaces the Milanese public will be welcomed into a fantastic world of richly colored walls, bustling streets and wide open windows. The lightweight design of the card will show the opposite to the solid nature of the ceramic plate, the undisputed mistress of the house.
There are three CULT products selected by Florim for the 2011 edition. The brand Floor Gres offers Walks1.0, the Florim reinterpretation of quartzite, metamorphic type of rock made mainly of quartz. Rex will offer an exceptional price for its collection Unique, fine porcelain stoneware tiles from the sleek and sophisticated, exciting and seductive surface, which evokes the essence of the brick and create a link between tradition and modernity.
Casamood proposes Link, contemporary reinterpretation of the continuous surface floors. Contemporary revival of continuous floor surfaces created for small modules. The material of Link refer to the traditional craftsmanship with smooth and compact surface finish.
The CULT products will obviously be part of the project chosen for the public exhibition MDWE.
